At LaDar Diamonds, we are committed to delivering fine jewelry securely, transparently, and professionally. Due to the custom, high-value, and handcrafted nature of our products, the following policy is designed to protect both our clients and our brand.
By placing an order on our website, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined below.
FREE SHIPPING (DOMESTIC & INTERNATIONAL)
LaDar Diamonds proudly offers FREE insured shipping on all eligible orders, both domestic and international.
All shipments are fully insured at no additional cost and require signature confirmation upon delivery to ensure secure receipt of your purchase.
ORDER TYPES
Made-to-Order Jewelry
Most of our jewelry is Made-to-Order and handcrafted specifically for each client.
• Production timelines are displayed on the product detail page.
• Timelines are estimates and may vary due to production schedules, stone availability, customization, sizing, and final quality control.
Ready-to-Ship Jewelry
Ready-to-Ship items are pre-made and available for faster dispatch.
• Processing times are displayed on the product page.
• Ring sizing (if applicable) may affect processing time.
SHIPPING SECURITY & DELIVERY TERMS
Signature Required
• All orders require signature confirmation upon delivery.
• For high-value orders, adult signature and/or identity verification may be required.
Insured Shipping
• All shipments are fully insured until confirmed delivery.
• Insurance coverage applies only to shipments delivered to the verified shipping address with signature confirmation.
Physical Address Only
• We ship only to physical residential or business addresses.
• P.O. Boxes are not accepted.
Tracking Information
• You will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking details once your order ships.
ADDRESS VERIFICATION & CHANGES
• Shipping addresses cannot be changed after the order has shipped.
• We may update the address before shipment at our discretion.
• Once shipped, re-routing or address changes are not possible.
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout. LaDar Diamonds is not responsible for delays, losses, or delivery failures caused by incorrect or incomplete addresses.
RISK OF LOSS
Risk of loss transfers to the customer upon confirmed delivery by the carrier with signature confirmation.
Once tracking indicates “Delivered” with signature, the order is considered fulfilled and LaDar Diamonds is no longer responsible for the shipment.
DELIVERY ATTEMPTS & RETURN TO SENDER
• Carriers typically make multiple delivery attempts.
• If delivery is unsuccessful, the package may be returned to us.
• Return shipping or re-shipment fees may apply.
• Re-shipment will occur only after identity verification and direct confirmation with the customer.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING, DUTIES & TAXES
• International shipping is available to select destinations shown at checkout.
• Transit times do not include customs clearance.
• The recipient is fully responsible for all duties, customs fees, VAT, and local taxes.
• We do not mark shipments as gifts or undervalue merchandise.
ORDER VERIFICATION & FRAUD PREVENTION
For security purposes, we may require additional verification prior to shipment, including:
• Government-issued ID
• Billing address verification
• Payment confirmation
If verification is not provided, we reserve the right to cancel the order and issue a refund.
We may refuse or restrict shipments to hotels, freight forwarders, forwarding services, or high-risk delivery locations.
LOST, STOLEN, OR NOT RECEIVED PACKAGES
LaDar Diamonds is not responsible once delivery is confirmed.
Delivered with Signature:
• The customer must file a carrier claim and, if required, a local police report.
Lost in Transit:
• An insurance claim will be filed.
• Replacement or refund will be issued only after claim approval.
Incorrect Address:
Losses caused by incorrect or incomplete addresses are the customer’s responsibility.
RETURNS & REFUNDS
FINAL SALE — MADE-TO-ORDER & CUSTOM JEWELRY
Due to the custom and high-value nature of fine jewelry, the following items are FINAL SALE and not eligible for returns or refunds:
• Made-to-Order jewelry
• Custom designs
• Engraved items
• Resized rings
• High-value items
• Special or custom orders
Once production has begun, all such sales are final.
LIMITED RETURNS — READY-TO-SHIP ITEMS ONLY
Eligible items may be returned under these conditions:
• Return request within three (3) days of confirmed delivery
• Unworn, unaltered, unresized
• Original condition and packaging
Items showing signs of wear, resizing, or damage will not be accepted.
RETURN SHIPPING
• Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility
• Insured and trackable shipping is strongly recommended
• LaDar Diamonds is not responsible for items lost or damaged during return transit
REFUND PROCESSING
• Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method
• Processed within fourteen (14) days after inspection
• Original shipping fees are non-refundable
DAMAGED, DEFECTIVE, OR INCORRECT ITEMS
Contact us within 48 hours of delivery with clear photos of:
• Item
• Packaging
• Shipping label
At our discretion, we will repair, replace, or refund.
FORCE MAJEURE
LaDar Diamonds is not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to supply shortages, carrier delays, customs inspections, natural disasters, or other force majeure events.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LaDar Diamonds’ total liability for any claim shall not exceed the purchase price paid for the product.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of use, emotional distress, or missed events.
CHARGEBACKS & PAYMENT DISPUTES
Customers agree to contact LaDar Diamonds first to resolve any issue before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute.
Fraudulent chargebacks may be disputed and pursued to the fullest extent permitted by law.
GOVERNING LAW & JURISDICTION
This policy and all purchases are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, USA.
Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located in Oregon.
